The Greatest Hope of All

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (NKJV )

I would be remiss if you visited this web site and I failed to introduce you to the greatest Love of my life: Jesus Christ. Someone took the time and had the courage (because I was kind of scary!) to introduce me to Him 35 years ago. In hindsight, God was drawing me to Him for years before then. I can’t imagine where my life would be now, or if I would even be alive were it not for divine intervention.

Perhaps that is where you are at now. If you are here because you are looking for help then it is no accident that you are reading this. You realize that we are not in control as much as we like to think, that life is unpredictable and can be uncertain and scary. It can also be so exhausting! Jesus said, “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.”
—Matthew 11:28, (NIV)

If you have never asked Jesus to be your Lord and savior then the first thing he wants from you is your sin. I had lots of it and I had no problem admitting that I was not right with God. Jesus paid the price for all of our sin on the cross but we have to take the first step and admit we are sinners and ask for forgiveness. Maybe you are not a criminal but you are filled with pride or bitterness or worry. Anything that separates us from God is sin. Let Jesus take these from you! I humbly ask you now to pray a simple prayer, something like this:

“Jesus I admit I have sinned and I ask you to forgive me. I ask you to wash me and make me clean again by the blood you shed for me. I ask you to come live within me by your Holy Spirit so that by your power and grace I can be free and I can have eternal life with you. Thank you for saving me and giving me the greatest hope on earth and in heaven! AMEN.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
—John 1:12-13 (NKJV)

If you have made a decision to follow Jesus then please contact me and let me know of your decision. I rejoice with you and I will pray for God’s wisdom, grace and peace to reign over you.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
—Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV)
